Its been a while since my last post but that don't mean I havent been fishing just havent got to go enough. Me and Jackson got out this mourning to give my new Skeet Reece football head rod a fling. Water temps are mid 80's no current but enough wind to get things active. I fished as long as my 5 yr old would let me. Fished in 20 to 25 feet. I didn't throw nothing but 3/4 oz football head with a zoom speed craw. Spooled up with 20lb invis x florocarbon by sigma teemed with the new rod I could feel everything a ton better than I could with the lighting rod. Caught a few but it didnt take about an hour before he was hollering that he wanted to go swimming and as hot as it was today I didnt argue much. Jackson is a better swimming partner than a fishing buddy right now but thats the way it is. emoSun
