Mantua Saturday - Marathonman - 09-04-2011

Headed up and knocked the bluegills dead. We caught probably 70 bluegills and perch. The perch were 7-8" long and didn't get any more size to them. We got a lot of larger gils and had a great time with my kids. For a Labor day weekend, I was surprised of the few boats that were there. It became less windy as we got off the lake.
Got them at my favorite place, smack in the middle of the lake. Lost 1 trout.
10% caught on jigs, the rest on worms.
*Note - I kept the perch and only the dead or dying bluegills. Not much meat on them. We released all the rest.
