where to go N.M.,Tex,Mex - HFT - 09-23-2003


I have a friend going south for a couple of months he asked me to find some good Bass or other fishing in New Mexico,Texas and Mexico. HELP?

Texas, Canyon Lake outside San Antonio (see Texas BFT board), New Mexico northern NM any river.

Lake Fork is a givin. If you got a good boat Rayburn and Telodo Bend are awesome. Alot of smaller lakes like conroe, still house, even lake belton have some decent bass fishing. Rayburn can be a hazard when those storms come in though. My middle school football coach had his boat flip and sink on him about 15 years ago. Nice skeeter, what a shame. Sure wish I had the means to get out and catch some longhorn large mouths. Good Fishing, Matt
