not yuba yet!!! - CROSSINEYES - 12-28-2011
we headed down on tuesday. hit painted rocks a 630 am looked good drilled a test whole 3 to 4 ok. then as the sun came over the hill we could see open water on the n side of the islands. it goes from the east side all the way to the west side half mile wide the solid again as far i could see. well walked out a ways and nope cant get to island or the west bank. change of plans. pull the map out look for structure on east bank. fished the bay to the south. 6 bites in 6 hrs[:/] not working. presure ridge went crazy about 100yrds away and open water was comming our way time to call it. headed for lb. fished the warm springs for 4 hrs 10 perch missed a few and had 1 good fish break me off. yuba is not far off. maybee by sunday if we dont get wind from the north...
