Hows the ice conditions at Scofield? Has the warm weather made it unsafe?

I was there friday and the top inch was slushy but there is still 12 inches below it that is solid. The slush came after a full day of sunshine so its plenty strong. Even the edges were still solid despite standing water on top. Good luck if you go.

I was there yesterday. Should have taken the ice skates. There was no snow on the ice and it was slicker than you know what. if your sled didn't have something in it than it was not going to stay in one place with the wind. It was 12+ inches.
