the Wolftever Kid, Chickamauga, Crappie, 1/7/12 and 1/9/12, CUONTHELAKE - FishNews - 01-13-2012 A couple of short trip reports in one. Candi and I did a trip, where we fished off<br />one dock. Water was around 8 feet deep. She, on her first cast, while I am still<br />unloading all of her stuff, Orders me to get the net. She gets her first tarp of the year.<br />CU 1, KID 0. Enjoy it while you can before I release the Kracken, Candi! We fished for <br />around 3 hours and caught 18 nice crappie. She may have caught more than me, I <br />was told that anyway.<br /> We got out today, for less than 2 hours. Boat wouldn't crank, dead battery. Lucky,<br />I had a jumper box. Went to a deep drop, marked a few fish, no luck. Started fishing docks,<br />Before I can put the trolling motor in the water, I am being told to get the net, A fat 13 1/2<br />incher. I'm putting the camera up, she is hollering at me again to get the net. Back to back<br />13 1/2 inchers. I haven't even got to pick my rod up, and shes got 2 pigs. Caught 4 or 5 good<br /> ones here. Or she did. What a spotstealer!<br />We only caught 8 keepers. Didn't have the time to find em good. Got some cool pics of a<br />rainbow as we were leaving. Did I really say that? All fish released.
