Trumpeters continuation. - Leaky33 - 01-15-2012 Are you tired of this yet? Anyway, this is what i just sent my grand daughter. Well, I went with what I had, thanks for the offer. Learned a lot. Saw that they were in the same spot, amazing. Made a perfect sneak, well kinda, raised up and there he/she was swimming by. I had prepared my camera, (I thought), got it out, (the old piece of junk) LOL, opened it to extend the lens, clicked for max magnification, and raised up. There he/she was (the other 2 not in view). Took the pic. and of course they took off immediately so I only got 1 pic. Tried to take another in flight but just got snow. LOL When I got back, took a look at what I had and, dang nab it!!!!! With my piece of junk, sometimes if you click the mag. it doesn't hold unless you take the pic. then. Sooooooooooo, I got a distant pic. again, but you know what, between I-photo and preview I "think" I got what I wanted. If that isn't a Trumpeter, then I up in the night!!!!! P.S. They just flew out to the open fields and landed so I betcha they'll be back the next several days. They seem to like the bottom material in the river and unless they are pressured too much they will return. It also looks like you snapped a photo of the Loch Ness monster in the background. Two fer two! When compared to Wikipedia's photos of trumpeter swans, it sure looks like you have a match. Nice going. [signature] Re: [Leaky33] Trumpeters continuation. - albinotrout - 01-16-2012 Very nice![cool] [signature] |
