Devils Creek ice? - toadly - 01-26-2012 Thinking of hitting Devels Creek or Deep Creek this weekend. Does anyone know if the edges are safe? It has raised many of the reservoir levels and made for unsafe edges. The only one I have actually looked at was Hawkins. There are a few more reports from others on this post. http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?post=717438;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;page=unread#unread [signature] Re: [toadly] Devils Creek ice? - Idaho - 01-26-2012 I prefer a ladder. Over a plank. The problem is you have to walk across, rather then up. Snowing in Malad. Nice three inches. When I was there. I would bet, the fishing at Devils is Gr8. I have noticied after the derby and 300 people on devils that is the place to be. We went out off the point and you had to take one big step in a spot we found and a little water at first but not bad. We iced 7 in a couple of hours. There were only two other groups. They walked across the boat dock. They still had to walk through water for a couple of feet. (Deep Creek) [signature] |
