Started around 10:30 this morning at CFP and wanted to say hello to my pets first,the larger ones were not playing but the smaller ones were real aggressive today and had moved up into the 15-18ft water out of the deep,H2O swimbait still is the ticket for now and even caught a few on 3/4oz S/B,went up river to check some more spots and same thing smaller size but alot of them,WT was 50-52deg depending today and a strong wind for most of the day,bait balls were everywhere and I guess the bigger fish were full,ended the day with 23 bass,with the largest around 3# and yes Candi even another crappie made it in the boat today!!! LOL was a great day off duty and able to enjoy this warmer weather while it stays.
