got out this morning after my partner got off from work(he does the 11 pm to 7am gig) to see if we could sneak in a few hours before the bad weather hit.put in at wolftever around 9 or so and started working shallow water with traps and jerks in 55 degree water.fish were not as aggressive as we had hoped with most coming on jerkbaits while the traps simply were not working for us.caught largemouth,smallmouth and of course the ever present drum before the wind got to be too much for the trolling motor to handle.only took one pic before it got rough which just happened to be directly in front of island cove not long before they got slammed.the water was fairly slick as you can see in the pic but didnt take long to get rough so we high tailed it outta there.there was only one other truck at the ramp which was still there when we left(a black f150 w/loudon county plates)sure hope they made it out ok.didnt get to fish long or take many pics but glad we got out when we did.
