Easy to use, measure and put away for the next round. I get it at Sportsman's, the pepperoni flavor is awesome. [signature] Re: [hogstalker] jerky recipe ? - hookit - 05-06-2012 I have a recipe. I use it for deer and elk. Can be used on muscle meat or ground meat. If interested, give me a p.m. [signature] Re: [hogstalker] jerky recipe ? - BearLakeFishGuy - 05-09-2012 I've tried all the homemade recipes for deer/elk/antelope/goose jerky over the last 20 years and have like the High Mountain cure that FSH4FUN05 recommended. It is easy and the jerky comes out great. You can use either whole muscle tissue or grind it (I like it this way for goose only). One package of High Mountain cure treats about 30-40 lbs of raw meat. You can use only a portion of the mix and save the rest for the next year in their container that comes with the mix. Good stuff!!! [signature] |
