Porcupine hair for fly tying.. - crappyslayer - 03-14-2012

If anybody is interested I have some packages of porcupine guard hair for tying flies. I bought more than I will use, and will gladly sell the extra for a reasonable price. (much cheaper than I've seen on fleabay...)

Anybody who is interested can pm me and I wil give you more info.

I will warn you in advance: this is likely to be a prickly issue for some.

It was many years ago, that my grandpa found a dead porcupine, and we cut out a patch with some hairs and he taught me how to tie a fly with porcupine hair. They float forever..

I don't know if you have put this on the Idaho for sale board, but you probably should.
