Here's a late report on our trip to the green river 3/16,17 Everyone caught a few, mostly in the slot this trip. Most were caught on jakes lures and repalas. Here is a few pics mostly of my freind cris's 7 year old daughter and her fish's because she's so darn cute

It is posts like these that make me regret not hitting the green while I was at the gorge last summer. Great report and pics. Some fine brownies you got there!

+1 dude...we coulda, woulda, shoulda, didn't and only in this case we still can! DAMN that is one fine lookin river. Can't wait till we get another shot at going there. Is there any camping options along that river...preferably some that are for free?

No overnight camping along the A section, not sure about lower.

There are several well maintained BLM campgrounds throughout the C section, ( $5) as well as many primitive camping areas there. There is no restrictions on camping , you can camp right along the river.A word of caution, the river can muddy up down there because it's below the red creek drainiage so apil and may can be iffy. If you go later in the summer you can go in over diamond moutain, which also has some great fishinf for big bow's at matt warrner, and calder res's
