its tough too. last 2 trips we did good but yesterday we got smoked. a 2lber, another jumped off, and a few other keepers but nothing impressive. it took a while to figure out there were deep. all 10 to 30 feet.plastics were the only steady thing. we probably got 50 but i'd say 40 of them were 5 to 10 inches. couldnt beleive all the babies i caught. a perfect brownlee glass day there and then 35 mph wind for 2 hours and then glass again. welcome to hells canyon where you never know what the wind will do. also caught 2 5lb cats and 2 2lbers on bass gear which made the trip for my old man. he want cats to bring home. also saw 2 very nice rams 75 yard up the hill. that was a 1st

Sure sounds like Brownlee isn't up to its past reputation this year.
At least you had some action and came home with some good eats.
