Fav. Foam Terrestrial - FishingRookie - 06-27-2012 I have been tying a ton of flies lately because the boss (my wife) has not given me the green light to get out on the water. I have the cutters and buy 1/2" thick foam from Michaels. Either rubber legs, or Pheasant tail. I like to put a dropper loop on them too. Easy addition and makes it easy to dry/drop. I love doing a hopper dropper but don't know if I have ever seen the loop tied into the fly. I love the hoppers! Take some mono and make a loop at the back of the hook and tie it down first. Then build the fly [signature] Re: [chrome_junky] Fav.
