Flaming Gorge info - jrs4x4 - 10-23-2003 We are going to head up in the next few days. I wondering what this warm weather has done to the mac spawn in linwood bay. Any recent information would be helpful. Get a Fish-N-Map and look for the gravel beds in Linwood, about 1 minute ride from the ramp. Graph the gravel humps down about 80'. If the weather's calm and you mark >5 fish on bottom, then stop and jig. Once the wind starts picking up or if the fish are scattered, troll the bottom with popgear and minnow or a large, jointed flatfish. There's plenty of other areas near Linwood you can try too. Get the map, spend some time, and keep your presentation on the bottom. Good luck.
