Well this report isnt as good as the last Tuesday nighter I fished alone. Blasted off and went to first spot with nada. Second spot I had two short strikes on a spinnerbait and no takers on the worm. Third spot not a single bite. Im getting worried at this point and just started hopping spot to spot trying to figure out what the fish wanted. About 8:30 I was thinking about leaving early. Went to a big flat at 8:45 and there was some top water action going on and I got a small limit on the spook. I caught 7 or 8 but they were all cookie cutter fish. I did have a couple good blowups but they just sent the spook flying in the air emoBang I put that away and started working in the grass with a worm and culled twice for just ounces and got one about 3.5 to hit and that was my biggest. Pretty poor outing I must say and seemed like lots of folks had a hard time as well. I only had about 8 lbs but as hard as I had to work for it I weighed them anyway!!! Had another good time fishing the Tuesday nighter and we all got out of there before the bad weather showed up. Look forward to next week. Caught my fish shallow and water showe 90 on surface.
