Good local bluegill pond? - forgiven - 08-02-2012 Anybody know a good local (Nampa/Boise) bluegill pond suitible for teaching a newbie to flyfish? Please PM me if you know of a really good spot. A dry-dropper rig works wonders. Although you dont catch big fish, you catch a lot of 3-4 inchers. There are also almost no trees and bushes, just grass, which makes for easy casting.
