Got out this morning for a few hours to try to catch some bass, but quickly switched to crappie. The first place I stopped to bass fish i caught three small ones by some pretty heavy grass on a shakey. I was right beside a dock ive caught crappie at before so I figured I&#39;d shoot a few under it. That turned out to be a good decision and i think i caught about 20 under this dock with only about three smaller keepers emoScratch. After that I moved to a couple more docks catching a few here and there with almost no keepers. I pulled up on a brush pile in 20 fow and caught one almost every cast for about an hour and a half. Of course out of all those crappie there were only 6 over 10in. On the way in i threw a spoon around some brush on a ledge and hooked into a good bass about 5lbs. All in all it was a good day, you can never complain about catching fish.<br />I think i had close to 50 crappie only about 9 keepers and 4 bass with the 5 being the biggest. emoThumbsup.<br />Man there sure are a ton of 9-9 1/2 inch crappie in the lake emoScratch
