Powell - Uintaman - 09-07-2012 Stayed in Slickrock, South of Bullfrog 20 miles, the evenings in the main channel saw some boils, and fewer in the mornings. They would shut off, like a light switch. Question, the biggest stripper was the one in the picture at a measured 24 inches, what is the best guess on its weight? I had most success on kastmasters, silver with either blue or chartruese, but I could cast far and somewhat accurate. The biggest stripper came on a blade jig, silver and blue, blade jig has the 3 holes on top, was by Heddon. Trip was fun, fishing only moderate, but hey it was Hot in August. Love slickrock canyon but my favorite canyon on the lake is just around the corner, Iceberg! You could always weigh the fish with a scale if you really want to know [].
