Where to go bass fishing in CT? - ctfishinlegend - 11-03-2012

Can someone please help me and tell me any good ponds or lakes near litchfield, CT to go bass fishing? Had a pretty slow summer fishing-wise [bobsleeping], so any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Dylan

Welcome to the site Dylan. You should try posting your question on our CT board, maybe one of the mods on that board can help you. Here is a link to that board: http://www.bigfishtackle.com/forum/gforum.cgi?forum=16

Candlewood comes to mind. I don't know if you have a boat, but you need one there. Bass fishing has really dropped off here the last four weeks. I'm down to 1-2 a day, no matter how hard I fish. Seems early, but maybe the lakes are turning over here in Ct. I would use blade baits at this time.
Most of my lakes I go to are central Ct. The DEEP can give you a list of bass management lakes in your area.
