Is little dell close to eagle mtn how far is it and what are some place that are close

Little Dell is a ways from Eagle Mountain. It is by little dell golf course going up parleys canyon. Utah Lake is probably the closest. Pelican Bay Marina is on the west side of the lake just a ways down from the road to Eagle Mountain. I found a few white bass to play with there last week. The white bass should be moving into the harbors now and again. Use small jigs most any color but I like red heads with some shade of green body. Chartruese is also good. You may also get them on spinners such as mepps or blue fox. They do not charge a fee to fish if you are not launching a boat so thats another plus for Pelican bay. If you need better directions to Pelican Bay let me know.

Settlement Canyon Reservoir, up Tooele canyon is quite close to you. Haven't heard any recent fishing reports.

If you want to do mountain reservoir fishing, Deer Creek is closer to Eagle Mountain than any of those.
You can go up American Fork canyon to Tibblefork as well.

Utah Lake and the Jordan River are the closest spots to fish. There are a number of community fishing ponds in the Lehi through Provo area as well. For local lakes and reservours you have Deer Creek up Provo Canyon, Tibble Fork up American Fork Canyon, Vernon Reservour SW of 5 mile, and Grantsville Reservour.

I have found that fishing Lower Bells Res is difficult in the fall. Spring tends to be so much better.
I would advocate Little Dell to you as it is easier to catch a fish there and besides it is less of a walk and the same regulations apply at both bodies of water anyway.
If you fish Little Dell for your 1st time a gold kastmaster works well and try a stormy day over a calm day. If you want futher details on Little Dell PM me with any questions you might have.
