Echo ice fishing - Gemcityslayer - 12-13-2012
Anybody planning on fishing the hard deck at Echo this year? Seems to me like it might be kind of fun with the low water. Should be a lot of fish condensed in that puddle.

It sould be good but the water might be muddy. Have you seen the steep hike down?

Yeah I am amazed, I have seen that lake get low before, real low... but not like this.
Bet it will take some time for the fishing to rebound once it fills up again. There should be some nice fish left though and shouldn't be too hard to find them.
I doubt I will get a chance to try it this year but I'm looking forward to the reports if people try.

That's the best part. Go rock climbing. Try taking your float tube and all your fishing gear down that stuff and back up. Good times. Im up for echo ice fishing or maybe sledding or even snowboarding with my ice fishing gear down hill to reach echo lake. [laugh]

It's this low because of dam repairs. I want to try hitting the ice sometime, but not sure when that might happen this year.
