<br /> Sitting in the woods yesterday morning, not seeing a damn thing got me wondering if there were any stripers to be caught.....I hunted as long as I could stand it then headed south. <br /> I started getting the boat ready and Carol asked if her and Sierra could join, heck yea I said! We even brought Coco the dog. LOL<br /> Most of my time was psent searching, although I could find bait, but no predators feeding on them, I even called Dickey to see if he had any great tips, his was, wait till you see better reports, emoLaugh Im kidding but thats what I should be doing. <br /> We did end up getting into a couple schools that were active, I hooked up four times only to come unbuttoned. One was a good fish, I have no idea what happened to that one.
I ended the night with a single paddle sized white bass in the boat. <br /> Spurjinx of the day: Sierra was also doing a little fishing and while casting into one school, the reel fell OFF the rod into the lake...no kidding. Luckily I tie my line onto the spool so I just pulled it up, but the line was trash after getting tangled. I have zero idea how in the hell that could even happen!<br />
