Otter Creek or Pang Lake? - Fish4Fun2 - 01-10-2013
Taking some friends tomorrow... trying to decide between Otter Creek and Pang Lake. They don't ice fish a lot and looking more for a fun experience than anything.
I was at Otter yesterday and we caught fish but it was slow compared to a week ago. I was at PL on 1/1 and we had a blast catching 70+ in our group. Bite was super light at PL vs Otter the bite was stronger. Part of me thinks we might catch more at PL but bigger at Otter with a stronger bite.
Has Pang Lake cooled off?
Any thoughts would be great.

I would love to go back to Panguitch Lake, over christmas I took a friend who had never been ice fishing and we caught 18 from 8:00-12:00 all from 15-20" cutts and bows. wite jig with an orange trailer.

I would go to Fish Lake was down there on new years. Good ice at Doctors. You always can catch perch if the bows or the splake aren't biting often enough. I fished in 20ft of water and I caught 20+ perch and 11 trout (only two were splake) in about 3-4 hours.
