I ended up knee deep, only fished a hour tell my feet were froze couple decent perch and a bunch of tiny trout. I went to foster today and the edges wernt any better. Not sure if its the weight of the snow ontop of the ice, or if the temps are melting snow in the mountains but be safe around the lakes and res.... I can tell you that water is cooooollld!!! [signature] Re: [cpierce] Roll call for 1/12 - jigs - 01-14-2013 We fished Saturday straight out from the boat ramp, we were around 20 ft of water, but last week i was fishing the north east side of the lake and only in 8 ft of water. I am still trying to figure out the differences between summer and winter fish patterns. Now if only it would warm up a little -16 last night and a high of 5 so far.
