You have two more weeks to get your nominations in for the first-ever Sporting Heritage Council. If you already have submitted a name, you're done. Thanks!
This new council will advise the governor, the Natural Resources Board and the Legislature on fishing, hunting and trapping issues. There are five chairs on this 12-member council that will come from your nominations. They will represent:
Deer hunters
Bear hunters<br />
Bird hunters<br />
Anglers<br />
Furbearers - through trapping or hunting.<br />
