HILTON PARK BOAT ACCESS FACILITY (DOVER, NH) TO BE CLOSED JANUARY 21 - MARCH 8, 2013 - FishNews - 01-23-2013
CONCORD, N.H. -- The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department today announced
that the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) Hilton Park boat<br />
access facility on the Piscataqua River in Dover will be closed to the<br />
public from January 21 through March 8, 2013, because of construction<br />
activities related to installation of a natural gas pipeline.
During this time, Granite State Gas Transmission, Inc. (GSGT), in<br />
coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT),<br />
will conduct pre-construction and construction activities necessary for<br />
installation of a natural gas transmission pipeline under the Piscataqua<br />
River between Newington and Dover, N.H.
Mobilization and pre-construction activities are scheduled to commence on<br />
January 21, 2013 on NHDOT property in Newington, on the easterly side of<br />
Spaulding Turnpike and south of Shattuck Way and on NHDOT property in the<br />
area of Hilton Park in Dover. Drilling activities are scheduled to commence<br />
on February 6, 2013.
