Well, went to rivermont for some smallmouth only to find I couldn't get to the dock for the high water. No partner and didn't want to risk tearing my boat up in the wind and rocks, I went back upriver for a couple of hours. Found some bait on some structure in 20' and caught around 25 with only 7 keepers. Caught them on outlaw special, electric chicken and a minnow colored bait made at Soddy Tackle. None seemed better than the other today. Caught them from a 4 count all the way to the bottom. Water temp 45.4 when I took the boat out. Caught 1 bass at 3 lb 10 oz feeding on the bait but could not get any more takers. Want to catch some bass, but can't seem to lay the crappie rod down......
