Out of state deer tags? - bowhunter3 - 02-23-2013 I'm looking to hunt deer in either Wyoming and/or Colorado this year as I have heard it is a whole 'nother world compared to Utah. Not looking for any honey holes, but would like some input from people who have hunted these states. I would be looking for something I would have at least an "ok" chance of drawing with no points, and see a decent number of animals. A big buck would be great, but would settle for a decent one and a fun hunt (wouldn't mind shooting a white tail either since I have yet to do that). Archery or rifle is fine. Any and all input is much appreciated. [signature] Re: [bowhunter3] Out of state deer tags? - FNA - 02-28-2013 If you are willing to do some homework. You will see huge potential in CO. Start looking into different units in the Craig area as well as grand junction. [signature] Re: [FNA] Out of state deer tags? - bowhunter3 - 03-01-2013 Thank you for some input. It takes a bit of work to get to know the area and how to hunt it. But there are some nice bucks there. [signature] |
