Shore fishing at warm lake is a little tough. but the best place is off Picnic Point. ( that's the tent camp ground. near north shore lodge). Red white and blue power bait works well. also worms.

Good luck and enjoy.

For shore fishing in general I like to either put the bait under a bobber up to 6 feet if water depth allows (less for kids because it is harder to cast) or get something that floats to keep it a foot or so off the bottom like enough powerbait to float the hook, worm with a marshmallow, or injecting air into a worm with a syringe.

I have found Warm lake extremely hard to fish from shore..... my advice find a way to hike to the back of the lake or get as close to that as possible. Get it out as far a possible too. The best places in that lake on on the opposite side of all the camping so if you can find a boat it wold be best to be completely honest.

I should have said this before too.... you would probably be more successful taking a trip back down the road to Horsethief is you don't have a boat or something to get you on the other side of the lake.
