Any posts or info on recent trips to Joe's Valley? Only a couple of weeks away from my first trip there, and my first fishing trip of the season. I will most likely be fishing with kids from the shore, but if I can find a cheap aluminum boat and get a hitch on the back of the trailer I would love to do that.

I was out there this morning. The fishing wasn't super fast for me, but I did catch some nice Splake and a few Cutthroat. I was fishing off the rocks by the dam. I have a two-pole permit and was just sinking chub meat on one pole and using various lures with the other. I definitely caught more with the chub meat. I saw a bunch of people fishing on the very north end near the inlet, but I don't know how they did. Good luck to you. Let us know how is goes!
