Stripping Basket - flygoddess - 05-05-2013

This will be more appealing to fly fishers.
I bought this back when I bought the XX but never used it. The past trips out on the Assault I kept telling myself to put it on. On my X5 and the Renegade, they are wider so I strip to the side of the seat, but the Assault is more narrow. So yesterday I put it on. It is wonderful!

Interesting! How does it attach? You don't have problems with it being between your feet?

I realized my legs are apart anyway. Flippers and all. This is small. 9 1/2" between the legs and 11 1/2" long. It really is out of the way. It attaches buy wrapping the straps around the two front straps of the seat. I am working on a better hook-up there, but for now this is pretty easy. There is a long strap the a with a quick clip on the end then a shorter one by the basket with the other quick clip.
Not sure how you would attach to other tubes. But it is very clean and neat and keeps the line all together for easy recasting.
