Im guessing the campground is still closed, is their another place to pitch a tent right now? At least somewher I would be able to get away with? Thanks

The Willard campgrounds are definitely still closed, and there are only picnic sites at the South Marina, AFAIK. There is a private campground about a mile east of the north marina, on Hwy 89, however. And a KOA about two miles north of that.

There are camp sites at the south marina that I'm pretty sure have been open for a while now. Last time I went there were lots of trailers there.

Where exactly? Is it the onejust right next to the inlet? Also would they care much if a tents just set up near the south east corner? Up top or off the side? Heading their tommorrow so hopefully itwill be pretty simple

The South marina is to the left of the inlet and you can tent camp there but I have never seen anyone camping at the Southeast corner. The SE corner is all private land around the parking area so I would not try it. For sure do not camp on top of the dike, they drive around the dike all he time and I'm sure they would not like you camping there. You might be able to camp on the beach in the SW or SE corner. I'm not saying it is legal but I have seen people there at night.
