Timex - fishinfudd - 05-12-2013

For the past few weekends I have been fish the same couple spots on the Weber, and the fishing has been amazing. The average size of the browns seems to be around 15-16" with a 18-20" fish not uncommon , there are pretty cutts in the swifter runs, the whities are nice too. But what really amazes me is that the fishing is this good with the amount of pressure these spots get by other anglers. By the time I quit fishing these spots are just crawling with anglers. Jim Demoux writes in his book Fly Fishing Utah that, "the Weber is like the Timex of rivers, it takes a lickin and keeps on tiken". That aint no s---.
