First Carp on a Fly - Envenomation09 - 05-23-2013 Wow that was a fight. He wasn't that big but he took me into my backing and bent my hook straight. That's intresting that a carp pulled line all the way to the backing[shocked]. I had never used my backing yet ha ha ha. The smaller the carp the better they taste. Not sure how strong my knot for line to backing is...LOL That is the great part of catching them on stillwater from a toon, you can chase them.
