Finally got some fairly good weather to fish when I didnt have to work. Took my step-son fishing, got on the water a little late didnt make the first cast until 6:45. all fish were caught shallow; 2 to 9 ft. top water seemed to work good early but plastics caught most of the weight later. 3 best fish went 11.5. thats not a big sack but it sure was fun. the biggest fish was 4.75 lbs. The baits that worked were zoom ol' monster in green pumpkin and zoom salty craw ( which you cant buy anymore). main channel temp; 70.8 and the backs of coves was up to 78.0 Fished mainly CFP and mid lake, caught about 8 slicks that wouldnt measure but who needs a net anyway!
