Went up to Lake !@#!$ searching for Browns and Bows, so I tied on my lucky woolly bugger and head out to find deep water. Got out about 30 or 40 feet was stripping out line and BAM a little 8 or 9 inch Smally took off with my fly. Boy these little guys put a fight, after wrestling with him for a few finally got him in the toon.

Finally got to the spot only to find a boat anchored in [
] So off I went searching. I zig zag across the lake half way across my line went peeling off the reel WOW!! another Smally I generally cant catch bass when im targeting them none the less get one on a fluke

After that everything went cold I rowed & rowed across the lake zig zaging switch flies nada [

Im suppose to go float a lake with Paveway tomorrow. We hit Causey last weekend..they should just drain that @%#%ing place. Or at least stop listening it as a fishery.

Pick your locations carefully at Causey, it can be quite fun. Last year I caught a Koke in full color pre spawn. I prefer to fish it where the streams dump in, especially all the way back to the middle arm.
