went out for a few hours this afternoon and started around 6:00 pm. went down river and hooked up on a good largemouth maybe somewhere in the 3 to 4lb range. first jump and he threw my strike king cb back at me. fished on and my gf started picking up keeper-sized bream on a bobby garlands, and then hooked into a nice cat. ran up river and fished below the dam before dark and had another 3 to 4lb LM spit a tube back in my face, again on the first jump. was finally able to boat a 15" smallmouth and a few spots in between. altogether a fun couple hours of fishing. three gates were open with a flow of approximately 50k. the water temp was 79 degrees.
