Dropshot, Nickajack, Bass, 6/30/2013, Taffi and Dusty - FishNews - 07-02-2013
The wife and I headed to Nickajack after lunch for a little fishing. Caught three fish off laydowns, all weighed close to 2.5 pounds and looked like triplets. Caught on SK worm. Next moved to a hump up closer to the Dam and caught four fish off a Carolina Rig with a 10 inch Big Bite worm. From there we met my brother-in-law at the ramp and headed down close to the islands. Started fishing some of the little bit of grass we have found. We had 9 blow-ups on Spro frogs, hooking 3 fish, with the largest 3.5 pounds. Caught three more fish on a clear Zara Spook Jr. before catching two more on a SK worm. Called it a day and got home and everything put away right before the clouds opened. A great day to be on the water with family.
