North fork duchesne (going to) - sammac - 07-26-2013 I have a goal to get my first fish on a fly rod this weekend at the nfd. Any suggestions for flies or colors? Has anyone been recently? Any help is appreciated. [signature] Re: [sammac] North fork duchesne (going to) - Lobina_Mosca - 07-26-2013 Like most smaller Uinta waters, the fish aren't going to be super picky. Ants, hoppers, caddis, PMD's etc will do great. A smallish parachute adams can be a great pattern. Either way, here's another good pattern that has been working up in those parts for us this year. http://www.flyfishfood.com/2013/06/stoneflopper.html [signature] |
