Hello all. Ive been bass fishing a lot lately and have had some real success but I feel I could be catching more.
Ive been getting a lot of follows from smallies coming up from deeper water but haven't been able to hook them even if I see a follow and follow it up with a deeper running lure. any suggestions???
I was out on sat and put about 35 in the boat but probly could have had 50 if those smallies would have bit. Here are a couple pics of descent bass I got.

I've been whacking em on Norman deep little N. Also dropshot. Points an rocks with deep water close by. My bigger fish have been Lrg mouth. But catching lots. If they're following. ..wrong color. Try different retrieve. Stop it n reel different speeds. I've had to make myself slow down cranking. Purplessence is color I've been throwing.
