went out to Willard bay today and fished off the dike with a couple buddies. We had an amazing time bring in in the wipers. Those guys fight like crazy and love to grab and go!

That looks like a good time. I've never caught a wiper. I thought you needed a boat. How do you catch them? I'm not asking for anyone's trade secrets, but lures or bait? What time of day is best? Can you use wiper meat to catch wipers like you can with white bass? Is that even legal? I'd love a little help from anyone to give me a place to start.

You can't use Wiper meat for bait anywhere in Utah.

I noticed that we had the beat luck midday. We were keepin it simple throwin bait about 20 yards from shore. they were hitting one after another
