Kingfish, Chickamauga, Crappie Mania 2 TARPS, 9-19-2013, Archie & Jerry - FishNews - 09-25-2013 <br /> <br /><br /> We put in the water around 7:00 am and fished until about 1:30 pm. Fishing was slow but the bite big. We caught some quality size fish today. <br /> We caught 25 with 14 keepers. The water temp. was 77* and all fish caught on BG various colors. We caught fish on delta structure, blow downs and bluffs. Nothing came off docks. The wind was a serious factor later in the morning. Kept us off of some of our honey holes.<br /> Archie showboated again. Humiliated both Jerry (Net Man) and myself. What a wonderful morning. Congrats to Archie. Archie caught both TARPS today. A 15-1/4" and a 15" Black Crappie.<br /> We also saw a flock of the Alabama state birds. Picture attached.
