With our drop off sitting in 120 ft. of water, 1.8 miles from shore, 15minutes after leaving the dock lines were in the water at the sea buoy in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We put two #8 plainers down, one with a bluereflector 3 ½ drone spoon and the other with a pink and blue sea witch in frontof a double hook Bonito strip. Forsurface baits we went with 4 Bonito strips. Our first strike came on our surface bait; Hannah was the angler and shereeled in a 12 lb. Barracuda, which was released. Our next fish was a 9 lb Kingfish which Shannon reeled in. From there, Nicole and Fred joined in as anglers and brought in a totalof 7 Kingfish and 2 Barracudas. With happy s on all their faces, the Bowsher familyretired to the a/c salon for the ride back to the dock at Bahia Mar 801Seabreeze Blvd. Fort Lauderdale 33316.
