Mantua - FrozenFish - 12-08-2003
I went to Mantua last week and the lake was frozen over and looked like it had about 2 inches of ice. So I was wondering if anyone has been up there and checked the ice recently?

I drove by it Saturday. It's mostly frozen still has some open water. I didn't see anyone on it.

I drive by it daily. When it first froze up before Thanksgiving it was clear and over an inch thick. I walked out a ways and checked it out. It warmed up right after that and has had open water and rotten ice ever since.
