Nauticman, Upper Nick, 5.5.lb. Smallie, Striper, etc., 11/16/13, FirstLight - FishNews - 11-24-2013 Been "off the grid" for a while havng made a trip to Fla. and trying to catch up on what I got behind on. Had some nice fishing on Apalachicola Bay down there. I'll post some pics if anybody on here asks for them.<br /><br />Pete Jr. and I fished below Chick Dam yestd. He got a nice TARP 5.5 lb., 21 in. smallie and I got an 18.5 in. keeper smallie, both on jig/pig, only smallies we caught. I got a striper and he got a nice spot that were chasing bait. We caught a few smaller spots and at least a dozen drum. All fish released.<br /><br />The flow was 26K cfs and the surface temp was 54.<br /><br />Chatted with shsimons and company as he was sitting on one of his catfish holes. He came by later and told us about a monster they caught, maybe he'll post something, don't want to steal his thunder.
