Quick lunch break - Jig-fisher - 11-27-2013 Decided to hit the river for part of my lunch break yesterday. Used a jig and caught this colorful brown. Had a couple of other follows and missed another hit. Best way to spend part of my lunch. Where I work when it was warmer i'd go to a bluegill, bass, and sun fish spot and fish on my lunch but now it's way to cold and my spot is slow till spring time ![]() [signature] Re: [Jig-fisher] Quick lunch break - Jig-fisher - 11-27-2013 With the weather staying nice, I decided to try another section this afternoon during my lunch. Although this guy was pretty thin, it was still fun. I had two others up to the bank, but they both self released to avoid posing for the camera. It can change the mood of the whole day when you can catch a couple of fish on lunch break. (FWIW - my newest lunch spot still has active LMB and bluegill) [signature] Re: [Jig-fisher] Quick lunch break - Lech456 - 11-29-2013 That's awesome. When I was working down in spanish fork I would hit the river in my lunch break two or three times a week. Really does change the mood of the day, fish or no. What water are you fishing? Some days I make it over to the Weber for a chance at bigger fish. The Weber doesn't hold the numbers of fish like the Ogden, and the fishing isn't as fast, but the quality is much better.
