scofield fishing and FOUND A DOG!! - mop_head - 12-09-2013
went up to scofied today fished the west side ice was very sketchy so only fished for half hour. lotsa slush and when i left i left a Australian shepherd, looks younger was chasing a truck that had passed by a few minutes earlier left and about 5 minutes down the road the dog was still running full speed and the truck was no where to be seen. i stopped and he was whining and seemed cold and
. let her in my car and we searched through the town with no avail. if anyone is missing her or knows who she is it would be a great help. also there is no collar on her.[signature]

Place an ad on KSL for the lost dog. Good chance the owner will look there.

already did it. looking at other dogs looks like a german shepherd blue heeler mix

Good for you for caring enough to stop and pick the dog up. You rate pretty high in my book for that.

You did the right thing but it sounds like that truck dropped that dog off on purpose. I hope you find it a home.

You might want to call Carbon County Animal Control at 435-637-6654. The owner may contact them since they handle those duties in the town of Scofield and the area around the lake.
