AF ice - panfisher - 12-11-2013
How thick is the AF ice, are people out on it.
I got time off on Thursday, thought of going to try out my new tent.

It should be ok the Jordan is frozen and if that feezes the lake is safe in most places.

I fished AF Harbor for a couple of hours Monday morning and it was VERY slow, just got one gill and nobody else was getting into them either. I think they came in early, then left. A lot of fish were caught from the docks through the ice about a week earlier, mostly white bass and fair sized, but they don't seem to be there now.

I fished it Sunday. There was 3+ inches everywhere I drilled a hole. Fishing was slow though. Only managed 2 white bass in about 3 hours, drilled holes in probably 8 different spots.

I think fishing is going to be very slow there for a few years because of the kill last year. That winter was just to hard on all the whitebass. As for the cats there is still tons of those we did very good on them in the summer.

Hit the WB by the docks for about two hrs today, 10am to 12 then they shut off. 4 to 5 inches of ice.
